A masterpiece of a record, with backing musicians at the top of their game (who happen to be Booker T. and the MGs) and a scorching duet with Carla Thomas, we'd grab this before heading to a desert island. Recorded in two days in the fall of 1967 and released in the first days of 1968, we love this record more than words can say.
